Submissions

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine their suitability for peer review. Submissions considered to be a good fit will be sent to peer review, after which editors may then request a second round.

When submitting a manuscript, authors are responsible for ensuring permission to publish any materials included (e.g., figures, tables, datasets) that are not original to the manuscript. Submissions should be in accordance with the journal’s scope and research ethics. Research involving human participants or sensitive data should be supported by appropriate ethical approvals.

By making a submission, authors agree to follow the journal’s policies on authorship, conflicts of interest, plagiarism and duplicate publication. The editorial team may desk reject manuscripts that do not follow these policies, are off-scope, or fall below the minimum standards for academic quality. The editorial team reserves the right to edit titles and abstracts for clarity and house style.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

• The submission has not been previously published, or is under consideration at another journal.
• The manuscript file is in a common editable format (DOCX/RTF) and a blinded PDF is included for review.
• All URLs and DOIs in the references have been checked and are active where applicable.
• Figures and tables are high-quality, numbered, captioned, and cited in the text.
• All authors have read and approved the manuscript and agree to its submission.
• Ethics approval statements and data availability notes are included where relevant.
